The reader’s feature does not necessary represent the views of GameCentral or Metro. I don’t regret buying it but I’d like more games to experience because there is nothing like it. It doesn’t show well until you try it, it can make you ill, it doesn’t really have that must-have game, and it costs a lot.
I guess it remains to be seen if VR can overcome its problems.
I didn’t use PlayStation VR for about a month and felt queasy at first, going back to it, but have since re-found my VR legs. But the more time you play the less issues you seem to get. Motion sickness is variable from game to game. Everyone I’ve shown it to has been impressed, though more than half have felt like blowing chunks during their time. Being in the headset is a solitary experience and doesn’t make for great couch co-op.
